My favorite tools
for growth.
Here are my favorite Enneagram resources. Check back frequently as I update this page regularly with vetted tools to help you along your growth path.
Determining Your Type
Start by reading about all nine Enneagram types before taking a test—sometimes the descriptions themselves tell you more than a score ever could. My favorite online resource for type descriptions is CP Enneagram Academy—it’s clear, grounded, and thorough.
For some, their type is obvious right away. For others, it takes time and reflection—so be patient with the process.
If you’ve explored the types (and the 27 subtypes) and still feel unsure, I offer a two-hour Typing Interview where I guide you through questions that uncover the motivations beneath your behaviors. Together, we’ll clarify your type and deepen your understanding of yourself.
Freebie
Use the Enneagram map to grow
beyond your type.
Many people are using the Enneagram to justify their behaviors instead of using it as intended: to move beyond your type to change your behaviors.
This free guide will teach you
how to use the map for growth.

My favorite books
For the beginner, The Enneagram Guide to Waking Up: Find Your Path, Face Your Shadow, Discover Your True Self by Beatrice Chestnut, PhD and Uranio Paes: A great, comprehensive introduction to the Enneagram and how to use it for growth.
For a deeper dive, The Complete Enneagram by Beatrice Chestnut, PhD : Okay, here’s the thing. Spoiler Alert - there are really 27 types. BUT I would recommend jumping into subtypes only after you have a really good understanding of the nine types, intelligence centers and wings.
For the workplace, The 9 Types of Leadership by Beatrice Chestnut, PhD: Enlightening to help you enhance your leadership skills and understand why your teammates do what they do.

The very best podcast
My favorite podcast Enneagram 2.0 is by my very own teachers, Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes. It offers incredibly deep and insightful teachings aroung this sacred tool.
I recommend starting at the beginning so you build a deep foundation of this powerful framework!
enneaflip
For the workplace
I love the Enneaflip because it is a great tool to have on hand in the workplace to refer to before and after interactions with coworkers, your boss, team members or clients.
You can quickly flip to your type’s page and on the other side, flip to the other person’s type to cross reference your strengths, blind spots, communication styles and growth paths.
I highly recommending keeping one of these in your desk!

The only test I use
You can take a test to help you narrow down your dominant type but remember that your results may be skewed by certain conditions like your environment, stress level, level of personal awareness, and honesty with and interpretation of the questions. If you take a test, make sure to answer the
questions as honestly as possible.
To determine your true type, begin reading about the types you tested highest in on the assessment.
